Enjoy with a couple of good friends and a cold beer! Level Beginner Prep Time 20 minutes Cook Time 20 minutes Serves 2-6 Cook it With Our Square Cast Iron Grill Pan Ingredients ½ pound lean ground beef ½ pound chorizo 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper ¼ teaspoon garlic powder 6 slider buns sliced jalapeno, for garnish ½ cup queso fresco, for garnish Chipotle Mayo ¼ cup mayonnaise 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce 1 teaspoon lime juice sprinkle of salt and pepper Avocado Smash 1 avocado, cut into ½ inch cubes ¼ cup cilantro, chopped 1 small white onion, chopped 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped 1 roma tomato, seeded and chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon lime juice salt and pepper to taste Directions Mix beef and chorizo together until well incorporated. Portion mixture into 6 equal patties, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Refrigerate while you prep the rest of the ingredients. Mix mayo, chipotle pepper, and lime together, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix avocado smash ingredients together until just combined. You’ll want to keep it on the chunky side. Set aside. Preheat square grill pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Oil the grill pan and sear patties in batches for 3-5 minutes per side, until cooked through. While the patties are grilling, oil the cut sides of the slider buns and set aside. Once the patties are done, grill the buns for 30 seconds and remove from the grill pan. Be careful not to overdo it.
